Is a FDC of Metoprolol, Telmisartan & Chlorthalidone Efficacious & Safe in the Treatment of Essential HTN?
A phase-III, open label, multicenter study with 254 adults having stable CAD and uncontrolled hypertension was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FDC of Metoprolol, Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone in patients showing inadequate response to dual therapy.
FDC1: Metoprolol (25mg)+Telmisartan (40mg)+Chlorthalidone (12.5mg)
FDC2: Metoprolol (50mg)+Telmisartan (40mg)+Chlorthalidone (12.5mg)
Triple FDCs of Metoprolol, Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone Were Effective and Well Tolerated in HTN Patients.
