Is COVID-19-Related Anxiety Associated With Greater Risk of CVD Events?

A study with 3,724 elderly patients with hypertension was conducted to examine how COVID-19-related anxiety affected blood pressure and CVD risk during the outbreak in China. Changes in SBP were analyzed for five 30-day periods during the pandemic, and CV events were collected for one year.
